if the Mets win, the Yankees lose and vice versa,

just take the last series of games, Mets get swept FOUR games by the Phillies big games, meanwhile Yankees SWEEP Boston 3 games, big games,

the games after? mets win, yankees lose

and its happened before, i remember when the mets had a really bad streak the yankees were doing great and before that when the yankees were really bad, the mets were on a hot streak, WHY DOES THIS HAPPEN? its not just me either... is there something statistically that accounts for 2 random teams being more likely to win and lose on the same night than both win and both lose?
