All they have is John Smolts and Tim Hudson. All I hear is how great a leader Chipper is. He's no leader. Leaders are supposed to show a little emotion, and help the other players. Not just sit there stone faced and pout when he hurts his little wrist, or back. Chipper, your playing baseball. Toughen up some. I would like to see you load trucks for a living one week.
To rhuzzy, TT sold the braves
Bobby Cox doesn't try to play small ball. They should try to manufacture runs. When you have the bases loaded with no outs, and are down by one run and get no runs out of the deal. Then thats the coaches fault. Thatr scenario has happened to the braves dozens of times. Also that Fata$$ Wickman, Bobby thought he was the greatest releiver since John Rocker (John was blackballed and Chipper turned on him too) If Schurholtz hadn't have cut Wickman, Bobby would still putting him in for relief and he would still be giving up bombs, left and right.
If I was coaching the Braves, then we would be in first place by a long shot.

DOn't downplay his pain, you really do not know.

I would root for the Braves if they were an ordinary team, not one owned by mr. fonda.

If all they have is Smoltz and Hudson but yet they just really played themselves out of the race last week I am trying to figure out your beef with the coaching staff.

The Braves have a good team this year but not a great team. Not too many people believed they would finish ahead of the Mets or Phillies and it now looks like those people were right. I can understand your frustration but you have to admit that Chipper has certainly done his job this year. In addition, I believe the Braves coaching staff is one of the best in MLB. They didn't suddenly forget everything they knew when they won their division all of those years. The good news for Braves fans is that it looks like the team will be better next year and will have a good team for years to come.

They don't suck as bad as the Pirates!!! Poor management and even worse drafting and development.

I think its great. The more they suck, the more they keep falling behind the Mets.

The Braves have an average team this year and it seems like if they don't win the division people are quick to jump off there band wagon and i am not a braves fan i am a Mariners fan but i still think the Bobby Cox is one of the best if not the best skippers of all time and they have a very solid line up and a decent rotation though the bull pen is shakey

Eazy killer. Someone needs a hug. Obvious your not a Chipper fan, thats just a guess. To callout Chipper and lable him a pre-modonna is not that valid "B". We are on the outside looking in, we as fans do not really know what goes on in that clubhouse. We don't know is true ailments. from what i have read he is one of the toughest players to play with multiple injuries.

your beef should be with Schurholtz and Andruw Jones. Schurholtz had plenty of time to shore up their rotation and never made a move to do so. Plus he traded away Kyle Davies, who did suck for them this year but is only 24, for Dotel who blew a save and went on the DL. Andruw hasn't hit all year and has been the most disappointing player in baseball this year.
