i can't speak for serena, but venus is not spoiled and mean spirited they just have the nerve to say that they are good at the sport they play and no one else will. I am a die hard venus serena fan but i am still happy for justine. And how could you say they are spoiled. Do you know their story????? They come from the hood it may not have been as bad as serbia but the serbians haven't done anything to be upset when they lose. So for you to be happy because someone lost that is not mean or spoiled you are a bad person. Now if you said you were happy that maria sharapova lost i would have sided with you because she is mean and did cheat in the 2006 us open then tried to say she didn't when it was caught on tape.

Yes, apparently Justine made more "lucky" shots today. Perhaps she should buy a lotto ticket.

I AM ENLIGHTED. Did you notice no interview because Venus left in a huff. Those annoucers can't even pronunce Henin's last name properly. I am so so so so happy not 1 American made it to the finals. Yipeeee Any one that thinks Henin made lucky shots must have been watching Sesame Street. Henin out played out shot and Venus wah wah wah wah it's so hot can't breathe. Well Henin was out there to didn't see her wah wah wah.

I really dont think theyre spoiled, they grew up poor in Compton... Mean spirited maybe, for serena, not Venus, because unlike Serena, Venus actually compliments on how good her opponents were playing.

And i started not liking Justine last year Austrailian Open when She gave up because of a FREAKING stomach ache, she basically handed that match to Mauresmo

I hope Kutz beats her like she stole something tomorrow. And for the record, the sisters aren't spoiled and mean spirited. You are.

The only thing that makes me happy about Henin’s success is her height. She is 5’5”. That means that average built people can still be great champions in tennis. Michael Chang tried to prove this but his results are more modest than the achievements of his bigger opponents such as Sampras, Edberg or Becker.

Honestly, I cannot criticize Serena for her press conference. Usually, these press conferences are so boring. “My opponent played great…”. We should not blame a person if she speaks her mind.

yes I'm thrilled those slobs both lost to henin now she owns both of their games and they now know they will never be number 1 again and should leave the sport for good/ I also believe henin will win the final and have 7 titles 1 more than venus// and could go on to win many more// but in all fairness venus gave a better fight than her fat butt sister and I hope they spend the night crying and there will be hell to pay with pop when they get home I suspect he will be screaming his head off///

You like Maria S and she lost to a noob to pro tennis???? At least the sisters made it to semis or quarters. And they aren't bratty... Just because they are good and not afraid to admit it is not mean spirited plus they work alot harder than maria i bet and henin retiring in the austrainian open last year serena had a HUGE leg cramp and played.... you need more evidence than the tv for you to judge the williams sisters!!

I am so happy that the Williams sisters lost. I am SICK and TIRED of hearing all talk about the Williams sisters and how great they are. They aren't number 1 and 2 in the world are they? Then the commentators defend them saying that they aren't healthy enough to play more tournaments to get their rankings up, that's why they are ranked so low. That is partly true, but I think that it is more of they choose not to play tournaments and play out an injury longer than it needs to be. Look, they came out of nowhere to win grand slams and that's great, but I honestly believe that if they can come out of nowhere and play 7 matches in 14 days, then they can play one or two more tournaments in the year. The only thing that annoys me more than the Williams sisters is the Sharapova story about how she came to the US because commentators have to bring it up every single time that she plays and it is over told, for lack of a better word.

It was the Williams sisters who have increased the interest in women's tennis in the past few years. Ticket sales go up when they are in the finals. They bought fashion to court. Don't get it twisted...
